Session Leader
Susan Doherty is published author and visiting academic at York St. John University and a postgraduate research supervisor for York Business School. She has worked as a marketing consultant for over ten years, as well as creating and delivering training programs for educational institutions and community organisations. After studying scriptwriting with the University of East Anglia she began writing plays for stage and screen, and has had her work performed at Louth Riverhead Theatre. A member of Hamond House Publishing and a keen supporter of the International Literary Festival, she is a judge of the International Literary Prize for Scriptwriting. She also runs her own creative writing business where she offers group workshops, residential writing retreats and one to one online coaching sessions for new writers in the Yorkshire and Humberside area where she currently resides.
