Join us for an unforgettable evening of culture, community, and celebration at 'River of Talent' - a multicultural event organised by the Indian Cultural Association North Lincolnshire (ICANL) in proud partnership with Scunthorpe Theatres.
This vibrant 4-hour event brings together local communities from across North Lincolnshire, celebrating our rich cultural diversity through various performances such as music and dance, as well as Indian cuisine, and a strong sense of shared identity.
The evening will also feature the Excellence Awards, recognising individuals and organisations who have gone above and beyond in the areas of community service, charity, and social impact. ICANL is a community organisation based in Scunthorpe, dedicated to promoting cultural harmony and providing inclusive platforms for people of all backgrounds.
Through events like River of Talent, ICANL seeks to foster unity, inspire young people, and create a lasting sense of belonging within the community. This event proudly supports The Health Tree Foundation (HTF), the official charity of Scunthorpe General Hospital. HTF works with NHS staff and local people to fund projects that directly improve patient experience and care across the hospital. Donations raised through River of Talent will contribute to important ongoing appeals, including: Dementia Appeal - making hospital spaces more dementia-friendly to enhance comfort and care Maternity Wish Appeal - providing more comfortable bedside chairs for families supporting women through childbirth.
This will be a vibrant opportunity to socialise, integrate, and embrace diversity whilst fundraising in aid of The Health Tree Foundation. There will be delicious Indian cuisines served to all guests.
Sponsorship opportunities are welcomed to help support the event and its charitable goals. More information, as well as entry tickets will be available in autumn.
