Adult Acting

Are you an aspiring actor? Are you already a member of an existing drama society but wish to brush up on your technique in preparation for your next show? Are you someone who always wanted to learn how to act but just been too afraid to take that leap? If you are then we have just the thing for you, Scunthorpe Theatres in association with Acting Lincs present - Adult Acting Classes.

Acting Lincs is run by Lee Waddingham, who has 29 years professional experience working with Oscar, BAFTA and Olivier award winners. Lee will take you through the basics of acting; including breathing, voice technique, stagecraft, movement, emotion memory, improvisation and scripted work. The classes will have a huge emphasis on fun within a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere where your are encouraged to make mistakes so that we can learn from them. If you want to improve your skills and confidence whilst making new friends, then come join us and start your acting journey.

In the autumn term, participants will be coming together to create and rehearse their first live public showcase. Classes will begin on Tuesday 3rd September. The autumn term will be 12 weeks in length, culminating in the public showcase performance on Wednesday 20th November.

Cost for the term is £120 and sessions runs every Tuesday from 7pm - 9pm.
