Both venues are near the centre of Scunthorpe, close to the bus and train stations and with plenty of car parking in the vicinity.

By Car

The Baths Hall (DN15 7RG) is only a 5 minute drive from the M181/M180 and just 20 minutes from the M18. Leave the M180 at J3 signposted M181 for Scunthorpe. Travel two miles along the M181 until you reach a roundabout at the junction of the A1077 and A18. Take your third exit at this junction. You will pass retail parks on the left and right before reaching another roundabout. Take the second exit (straight on) and head up the hill. Travel straight along Doncaster Road for approximately one mile until you reach the junction with Henderson Avenue. The Baths Hall is on the right-hand side.

The Plowright Theatre (DN15 6JT) is only a 5 minute drive from the M181/M180. After following the above directions to The Baths Hall, continue until you reach a crossroads. Turn right along Oswald Road and then first left. Take the second left and the Plowright Theatre is on the left-hand side, just after the Magistrate's Court.

Parking

Neither theatre has its own car park, but there are public car parks close to both venues.

The nearest car park for the Baths Hall is on Deyne Avenue (DN15 7PZ) with 107 parking bays and 9 accessible parking bays which is approximately 0.2 miles from the venue. Daily charges apply between 8am to 6pm. The car park in Dunstall Street (DN15 6JL) with 177 parking bays and 12 accessible parking bays, is approximately 0.5 miles from the venue. West Street car park (DN15 6HX) has 225 bays and 10 accessible parking bays, and is approximately 0.6 miles from the venue. Daily charges apply between 8am to 6pm. For The Baths Hall, we advise guests NOT to use the car park at Sainsbury's, as you may incur a fine.

The nearest car park for the Plowright Theatre is also Dunstall Street (DN15 6JL), which is approximately 0.1 mile from the venue. Daily charges apply between 8am to 6pm. The Parishes multi-storey car park (DN16 6QU) has 623 bays, and 28 accessible parking bays, and is approximately 0.8 miles from the Baths Hall, and 0.5 miles from the Plowright Theatre.

Accessible Car Parking

There are four designated accessible parking bays on the public highway, to the left of The Baths Hall. The Baths Hall is not responsible for vehicles left in these spaces. Spaces cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A disabled badge must be displayed when using these spaces, and the badge holder must be travelling in the vehicle. The walking distance from the disabled bays to doors via the ramp is 0.05 miles. The walking distance to the door via the steps (6 steps with railings) is 0.02 miles. There are six designated accessible parking bays at the Plowright Theatre, four to the left-hand side of the venue and two to the right-hand side.

By Taxi

Taxis can pick-up/drop-off right outside both venues. There are also taxi ranks on Henry Street which is 0.2 miles from the Baths Hall.

By Bus

Scunthorpe Bus Station is approximately 0.8 miles from The Baths Hall. However, there is a bus stop right outside the venue. For further details about bus travel in Scunthorpe See the page on the North Lincolnshire Council website.

Scunthorpe Bus Station is a 10 minute / 0.5 mile walk from The Plowright Theatre. However, there is a bus stop close by on Mary Street

By Rail

Scunthorpe is on the main East Coast line, and has direct links to Grimsby, Doncaster, Sheffield and Manchester on an hourly basis. The station is approximately 0.6 miles from The Baths Hall, and 0.2 miles from the Plowright Theatre.
