Box Office Opening Hours

The Plowright Theatre box office is open weekdays only between 10am and 12.30pm at present. The Baths Hall box office remains closed except for the hour prior to the start of a show.

Booking Fee

Tickets for events at The Baths Hall and The Plowright Theatre are subject to fees. This applies to all sales routes. The 12.5% service charge per ticket pays for the technology infrastructure, telephone lines, credit/debit card processing services, distribution network, merchant charges, labour and other costs associated with arranging and managing ticket inventory and servicing a ticket transaction. The £1.50 facility fee covers the increased property rates introduced by central government in 2017 and the extensive security measures added for public safety. Delivery charges may apply for tickets not purchased in person at the venue.

Customer Admission

No backpacks, holdalls, suitcases will be admitted into the venue. The patron will be refused entry if they attempt to enter the venue with the prohibited item.

Patrons with accessible and medical requirements/equipment will be considered on an individual basis but encouraged to contact the venue in advance for ease of entry.

There will be no temporary storage facilities for such items within the venue and it will be left to the patron to find a safe temporary facility to hold the item. The venue will not be responsible for late admission or non-admission as a result of this policy.

All remaining bags will be searched.

Prohibited Items

The following items will not be allowed into the venue:

  • Backpacks, holdalls, luggage, oversized bags and cushions*
  • Glass, cans, aluminium bottles or thermoses of any kind including any liquid products which can be consumed*
  • Flammable liquids in any container
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Video cameras and professional cameras
  • Laptop computers, Ipads and Go Pro’s
  • Large/golf umbrellas
  • Knives or weapons of any kind
  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks
  • Animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities)
  • Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other noise-making distractions
  • Projectiles (Frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc)
  • Aerosol cans (hairspray, mace pepper spray etc)
  • Fireworks, confetti or glitter bombs or sprays
  • Balloons
  • Use of wheeled footwear, skateboards
  • Food
  • Masks and helmets
  • Large studs and chains

Anything else which we deem to ruin the enjoyment or viewing experience of others

* Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs

Concession Rates

Where these are available, concession rates can be claimed by full time students, unemployed, retired over 60s and under 16s. Proof of eligibility will be required. Please enquire at the Box Office for possible discounts for parties of 10 or more and school groups (Concessions are not available on all shows.) Where patrons with disabilities need a carer to assist and attend an event, the combined cost will be equivalent to the full cost of 1 ticket. To join our Access Scheme you must be aged 16 or above. Please contact The Box Office for further details. 

Babes in Arms tickets can be collected in person from The Box Office, these cannot be ordered online but can we collected when you arrive at either venue. These are available for children aged 18 months and below children older than 18 months will require a ticket. 

Posting Tickets

Tickets that are booked through our ticketing partner Ticketmaster will be dispatched by them. Please see their website for more details If you have not received your tickets 5 days before the event, please contact us.

Children Under 14 Policy

As a responsible entertainment venue, the safety and comfort of our patrons is paramount. This Duty of Care is particularly relevant when protecting minors under 14 years old; as such our policy is that all children under *14 years old must be accompanied by an adult, defined as someone 18+ years of age who will be present for the full duration of the event. For certain shows where the audience is both seated and standing, no one under 14 years old will be permitted AT ALL to stand on the auditorium floor. Parents should always be aware of their general responsibilities regarding their children’s safety in situations where they are outside their direct control, and indeed legislation detailing these responsibilities. * Unless photographic proof of age is supplied, staff will make a judgement based on visual appearance prior to entry.

Show timings are subject to continual update. We endeavour to provide accurate showtimes however we strongly advise that you check the timings nearer to the show date, these can be found on our website and are posted via our social media channels on the day of the show, along with any amendments. All times are subject to change.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Tickets should be checked at the time of purchase as mistakes cannot be rectified later. Once purchased, tickets can only be refunded in line with our terms and conditions; under normal circumstances, this is only when an event is cancelled. Please click here for our Terms and conditions.
